- Formed band called "Flipper's Guitar" with Ozawa Kenji

- "Flippers Guitar" brake up shortly after their 3rd release

- starts Trattoria Records

1993
- Keigo Oyamada becomes Cornelius and creates his first solo release

1998
- after his 3rd release, Cornelius is signed to Matador Records in the US and UK.
